ARTE – that’s almost a synonym for surprises. I just had the pleasure to see the very imaginative short film / photo novel (sic!) LA JETÉE – AM RANDE DES ROLLFELDS (F 1962) by Chris Marker for the very first time – it was later adapted into the movie 12 MONKEYS (USA 1996) by Terry Gilliam and currently into a series. Wow, incredible and exciting.
